Patients from across the country travel to Park City, UT to seek facial plastic surgery with Dr. Eric Cerrati. Known for his refined surgical technique, attentive patient care, and predictable recovery timelines, Dr. Cerrati regularly works with out-of-town patients who are willing to travel for exceptional results.

Our practice is experienced in coordinating care for traveling patients, from virtual consultations and surgical planning to post-operative follow-up. With thoughtful preparation and clear communication, out-of-town patients are able to schedule surgery, plan their stay, and return home with confidence.

1. Step 1 – Contact Us or Email Your Request and Pictures
   Please email info@drericcerrati.com with the details of your request along with recent photos of yourself. Be sure to include the basic 6 photos: front, right side profile, left side profile, right ¾ view, left ¾ view, and base. Additional photos can be included to clearly show the areas of concern. All photos should be taken against a solid color background, and all photos are highly confidential.

2. Step 2 – Virtual Consultation
   Dr. Cerrati will assess if you are a good candidate for the procedures that you are interested in. A video consultation will be performed through FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, or another virtual platform. You will then be contacted by the office to discuss pre-operative care, costs, recovery, local accommodations and any questions related to your procedure(s).
3. Step 3 – Scheduling and Planning Around Your Procedure
   Once you have decided to proceed, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your surgery date. The remaining balance is due four weeks prior to your surgery date. Patients are required to fly/drive into town 1-2 days before surgery to meet with Dr. Cerrati to confirm and discuss the surgical plan. If flying, patients are required to stay in town for 5-8 days after surgery to see Dr. Cerrati for their one-week post-op. If driving, patients may return home after the surgery but must come back for their scheduled one-week follow-up. After the one-week appointment (5-8 days postop), patients are welcome to fly/drive home.

Salt Lake City International is the nearest airport to our office and facility.

• Pre-op Appointment (Park City) – Fly/drive into town 1-2 days before Surgery

Day of Surgery/ Night Nurse Care:

• The surgery center will call patients the day before surgery (after 2PM – Friday for Monday surgeries) to let the patient know what time to arrive to the surgery center.
• Patients can have an Uber/Lyft drop them off at the surgery center, but patients must arrange for someone to pick them up from the OR, as well as watch them for the first 12 hours. (This is a legal requirement).
• If patients are staying in Park City, please be aware that Uber/Lyft drivers are difficult to find in the early mornings.
• The surgery center will notify family or caretaker when the patient’s surgery is complete, as well as time estimates to when the patient will be ready for discharge.
• Patients can bring family members, friends, or a night nurse service (3rd party) can be arranged.
• Our night nurses charge for every 12 hours (separate charge). Their duties include signing patient out from the surgery center, transporting to Airbnb/Hotel, and providing aftercare. Please coordinate with patient care coordinator ASAP.
• Some patients use the night nurse for 24 hours so the nurse can also take them to their 1day post-op, and back to their Airbnb/hotel. Coordinate with patient coordinator ASAP.
• We also have a private driving service (separate charge) that we use to pick up and drop off patients. Coordinate with patient coordinator ASAP.

Post Operative Recovery

In the days that follow, Dr. Cerrati and his staff will see you post-operatively. Depending upon the procedures, you may return home within 7 days later. If you are unable to have someone help you recover, the office can arrange a nurse at your place of stay. Also, the staff can make arrangements with a local hotel (both in Park City or Salt Lake City) with whom we have a discounted rate. In the event that you require any medical attention after returning home, we will refer you to a local physician for a check-up. Your health and safety remain our number one priority.
