Forehead Lift and Brow Lift

A forehead and/or brow lift can be performed on its own to address specific aging issues between the eyes and the hairline. This eye & brow procedure can also be combined with an upper and/or lower blepharoplasty for a more comprehensive facelift. Specifically, the forehead and brow lift erases wrinkles and frown lines, raises sagging skin and allows the eyes to open more completely. The effect is a refreshed, younger appearance.

An upper eyelid lift procedure almost always requires a brow lift to achieve a seamless look. The brow lift involves precise incisions in the eyebrow line to remove any excess skin and fat and lift the brows. A forehead lift is performed endoscopically through minor incisions just beneath the hairline. The skin is pulled tighter to erase wrinkles and frown lines while allowing for smooth and seamless movements and facial expressions.

Some bruising and swelling are to be expected after surgery, but it will subside over time. Dr. Cerrati recommends 7-10 days for recovery with a full return to activity in two or three weeks.
