The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) is a highly respected organization of some of the top plastic surgeons and physicians in the country and from around the world. AAFPRS has over 2,200 members that are all board-certified plastic surgeons, some of the most elite in their field, including Dr. Eric Cerrati. The AAFPRS Foundation provides education, research and humanitarian support and programs for its members to improve their abilities to serve their patients. One of the educational opportunities they provide is at their annual meeting of members, which just occurred in October 2021.

The 2021 AAFRPS annual meeting was scheduled to be held in Las Vegas September 29th through October 3rd, 2021. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 concerns, the meeting was changed to a virtual venue, but the educational presentations were still widely available to members, and there were panels to discuss important topics in the plastic surgery field. The AAFRPS Foundation chooses top plastic surgeons to provide expert presentations on techniques, methods and technology that is relevant in the field. Dr. Eric Cerrati was given the honor of being chosen to be both a presenter on two topics and a panelist for his esteemed colleagues.

Dr. Eric Cerrati is recognized as one of the leaders in his field and is respected by his peers at AAFRPS. He has been a member of the FACE-TO-FACE committee at AAFRPS and is involved in many humanitarian and philanthropic efforts. For the AAFRPS Foundation’s 2021 annual meeting, Dr. Cerrati offered two presentations: “New Postoperative Pain Management in Cosmetic Facial Surgery” and “Using Social Media to Grow a Practice.” This was an opportunity for Dr. Cerrati to share his expertise and experience with his peers. Dr. Cerrati was also asked to be a panelist with other top plastic surgeons on “Marketing Tips and Pearls.”

Eric is such a great doctor! He treated me as family and was very thorough and diligent. I was very nervous but he made me feel comfortable at all times especially when undertaking a 7 hour surgery. Dr. Cerrati performed a facelift (w/ neck tightening), upper and lower blepharoplasty, and CO2 laser resurfacing for me in February 2021. I’m 3.5 months post op and the results have exceeded all my expectations; beyond what I ever could have imagined. Choosing Dr. Cerrati to perform my rhinoplasty was the best decision I ever made! I had consultations with many other surgeons and he was who I felt most comfortable with. He really listened to what I wanted and made it look very natural. He fixed my deviated septum and performed some cosmetic work. My recovery was such an easy process!
